Diocesan Capital Campaign

Our diocesan capital campaign, Building On Our Past, Envisioning Our Future, has established a goal of $15,000,000 to be raised over the next four years. These funds will help us renew, strengthen, and sustain our ministries in service to each other and to those who are most in need. They will also help us build a strong and vibrant Church for future generations.

Compelled by the Gospel message to make disciples, preach the good news, and serve the least among us, the faithful of the Diocese of Boise are being invited to join our Bishop in generating the financial means needed to further our mission and secure a solid financial foundation for our future. Will you be part of this journey?

Idaho Catholic Appeal

The annual Idaho Catholic Appeal (ICA) generates funds for the daily operations and sustainability of existing diocesan ministries and programs, which touch the lives of thousands of people throughout Idaho. These funds, raised by our parishes, demonstrate the generous support of our parishioners for the mission of the larger Church. During the course of our campaign it is vital that we maintain the financial resources required to sustain these ministries, programs, services, and the central administrative and pastoral offices.

Because we are embarking on a diocesan capital campaign in 2012/13, the decision has been made to incorporate the 2013 ICA into this campaign. The ICA will then return during its normal time frame in 2014.

There are many different accounts you can specify when you make a contribution to the Idaho Catholic Foundation.

Diocesan Special Funds

This area of giving is for a cross section of local and national Catholic ministries ranging from Catholic Relief Services for Natural Disaster Relief in Foreign Countries to Catholic Charities for Disaster Relief work in the United States.   

Here you can donate to the Catholic Extension Society, the Black and Indian Missions and other national ministries that have been very generous to the parishes and schools of the Diocese of Boise across the state over the years.  

Here you can help various other causes by donating towards the education of our Seminarians as well Priest Retirement in the Diocese, and the National Religious Retirement Fund. On the next screen which is updated regularly to reflect  the current environment you can see a list of the current needs which are many.
