Stewardship Council


 

The Diocese has taken the major initial step to involve religious and lay leadership in forming the Diocesan Stewardship Council. The purpose of the Council is to advise, help plan the diocesan stewardship process and help educate Idaho Catholics in the process of making stewardship a way of life. Council members are willing and available to consult with parishes as they pursue a formal stewardship process.


  

Mission: 

 

To be co-responsible with Jesus Christ in the building of the kingdom of God and to promote discipleship and spiritual growth through:

• Hospitality

• Prayer

• Formation

• Service

 

 
Purpose:

To advise, help plan the diocesan stewardship process and help educate Idaho Catholics in the process of making stewardship a way of life.

 

The Council is:

• appointed by the Bishop

• to serve two-year renewable terms

• to be representative of parishes in each deanery

• to include clergy

• to be representative of various cultures present in Idaho

• to meet monthly

• to help parishes with stewardship planning and education
