Director of Youth Ministry

   Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Mountain Home

 

 

 

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church seeks a highly motivated, energetic individual to create, direct and maintain regional outreach to Catholic youth in the parish. The person who fills this position will minister to Catholic youth in seventh through twelfth grades. The position will require a passion for working with teens and an understanding of the needs, hopes, and desires of this age group. Applicants must also have the ability to work and collaborate with volunteers, parish staff, and a diversity of cultures. A bilingual (English-Spanish) person is preferred, but not required.  The Director will report to the Preist. Consistent with the call of Jesus Christ to evangelization and calling forth of all Catholic peoples, the Director is called to serve as the primary motivator for providing ministry to youth in the parish.

Children’s Religious Education Coordinator

   Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Community, Caldwell

 

 

 

Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Community is seeking to fill a full-time position for Children’s Religious Education Coordinator. Applicant must be enthusiastic, resourceful and imaginative person with a background in education, training or relevant pastoral experience, to fill the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator. This position promotes lay ecclesial ministry identity by developing ministerial goals that are integrated with Gospel values, maintaining a support system, setting responsible boundaries, accepting the ministry as a call from God, modeling the example of Jesus, and identifying with the universal church.  The applicant must also demonstrate a strong and active commitment to the practice of the Catholic Faith, with a well-developed understanding of the evangelizing and catechizing mission of the Catholic Church.

Parish Youth Minister

   Sacred Heart Parish, Pullman, WA 

 

Sacred Heart Parish, located in Pullman, WA, seeks an energetic, prayerful and passionate half-time Youth Minister.  This person will direct the youth ministry program for grades 7 – 12 with an emphasis on Catholic faith formation, Gospel living, religious education and spiritual maturity.  Responsibilities will include administering programs, coordinating and recruiting core groups of teens and adult volunteers, and leading our young adults towards becoming faith-filled practicing Catholics.  This person should be able to balance church-based teaching with social activities and communicate effectively with both teens and parents.  The candidate must be a practicing Catholic who is excited to share their faith; with a preference for a Bachelors Degree in ministry, theology or related field, and be a self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills. One to two years related experience required. Position starts August 15, 2014. Salary is in accordance with Diocesan guidelines.
