   Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Caldwell 

 

 Our Lady of the Valley (OLV) seeks an energetic, organized and detail oriented individual to provide secretarial support for the operations of the Parish.  Those applying should have basic knowledge of Parish operations, the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters and the ability to relate to a variety of people and situations.  This position requires experience using Windows based software, the ability to operate basic office equipment and excellent typing, telephone and communication skills.

Youth Ministry Coordinator

   Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Caldwell 

 

Our Lady of the Valley (OLV) seeks a highly motivated, energetic individual to serve as YOUTH MINISTRY COORDINATOR at OLV, a parish consisting of 2500 plus families located in Caldwell, Idaho.  The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing catechetical, sacramental preparation, relational and service programs for Middle and High School Teens.  These programs consist of youth nights, retreats, community service, coordination of Youth Masses, summer programs and ongoing relational ministry. The positional requires good organizational, oral and written communications skills and the ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.  Applicants should be able to work and collaborate with a wide variety of people with varying interests. This positions reports to the pastor.  Salary commensurate with experience.

Fourth Grade Teacher

   Sacred Heart Catholic School, Boise 

 

Sacred Heart Catholic School, in Boise, Idaho, is actively seeking a fourth grade teacher for the 2013-2014 school year.   Candidates must have a degree in education, be eligible for certification in the State of Idaho, and have a deep commitment to Catholic education.  Sacred Heart Catholic School is a small Catholic school located in Boise’s Bench community.  Sacred Heart has a long and rich tradition of educating and fostering growth of the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Principal (part time) or Principal/Teacher (full time)

   St. Nicholas Catholic School, Rupert 

 

St. Nicholas Catholic School in Rupert, ID is seeking a principal or principal/teacher for the 2013-2014 school-year. The Principal provides spiritual leadership of the school community, preserving and promoting the school's mission as a Catholic school, in particular promoting/enhancing Catholic Identity as outlined in the Western Catholic Education Association accreditation protocol. The Principal also provides visionary and strategic leadership and personally promotes the success of all students and staff by participating in the development, articulation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by the staff, students, parents, and parish as a whole. This includes implementation of the WCEA accreditation action plan and the school’s strategic plan.  The Principal is also the instructional leader, promoting the academic success of all students, and the professional growth of all staff, by ensuring a unified vision and integration of the total school program.  The Principal is the primary provider of management and organizational leadership.  In collaboration with the pastor and the School Board, and the Principal acts to promote a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment, and manages the organization, operations, and resources for the success of all students and staff.  The principal has the option to teach, making the position full time.  Teaching options will be discussed during the interview.

The selected candidate must have a Master’s Degree and in keeping with the certification standards of the Idaho Department of Education, possess, or be capable of obtaining, within the period of certificate reciprocity, an Administrator Certificate with a principal endorsement, issued by the Idaho Department of Education;  OR Demonstrate successful experiences as a classroom teacher or school counselor/building administrator; OR Have previous school administration experience.
