Addressing Racism through the Lens of Christian Morality
Adapted from a Servant School course this workshop is an introduction to the issue of racism through the lens of Christian morality and how it presents itself in our communities. (Duration: full length=1 day/ shortened version=4 hours)

Welcoming the Stranger Among Us
This course presents the US Conference of Catholic Bishops' position on immigration as well as Bishop Michael P. Driscoll's letters and statements. Participants will watch a video and have an opportunity to discuss the difficult issues of illegal immigration. (Duration: 90 minutes)
Pastoral Juvenil Hispana-An Introduction for Everyone
This course describes the history and structure of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (Hispanic Youth Ministry) in Idaho and nationally. The unique structure which involves an integration of prayer, Bible study, evangelization, community service, and social analysis, is often misunderstood as Hispanic youth wanting to be seperate from Anglo youth. This workshop provides background and context as well as ideas for building bridges between youth groups. (Duration: 60 minutes)
Pastoral Juvenil Hispana-Initiation Course
This is a course offered by the Instituto Fe y Vida (the Institute for Faith and Life) for young adults and adults who lead youth groups or who are interested in becoming youth group leaders. The course is 8 classes and takes place over four weekends. There is a significant cost involved as well as planning. Please contact the Office of Multcultural Ministries to request that an Initiation Course be scheduled for your deanery.
