DIOCESAN VISION STATEMENT

The Catholic People of God in Idaho are called to be a faithful servant community. Spirit filled and directed, nourished by the Sacraments, we are challenged to hear, live and proclaim fully the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

DIOCESAN MISSION STATEMENT

United with our Bishop and in communion with the universal church, we the People of God in Idaho are called to build up the Kingdom of God by:

• Proclaiming the presence of God in Word and Sacrament.
• Calling each other to conversion and to joyful sharing of the Good News by word and deed.
• Nurturing and supporting vital faith communities.
• Being a prophetic voice which affirms the good values of society and challenges what is destructive.
• Discovering, celebrating and integrating the gifts of each individual, community and culture.
• Recognizing and responding to those in need.

DECLARACION SOBRE LA VISION DE LA DIOCESIS

Como pueblo católico de Dios en Idaho nos sabemos llamados para formar una comunidad de fieles servidores, abiertos al espíritu, alimentados por los sacramentos y desafiados para aceptar vivir y proclamar el Evangelio de Nuestro Señor Jesúcristo.

DECLARACION SOBRE LA MISION DE LA DIOCESIS

Unidos a nuestro obispo y en comunión a nuestro obispo y en comunión con la iglesia universal, como pueblo de Dios en Idaho, declaramos haber sido llamados para construir el reino de dios por medio de:

• La proclamación de la presencia de Dios en la Palabra y en los Sacramentos.
• El llamado mutuo hacia la conversión y el alegre compartir de la Buena Noticia en palabras y hechos.
• Promover y apoyar comunidades vitales de fe.
• Ser una voz profética que afirma valores en la sociedad y rechaza lo que es destructivo.
• Descubrir, celebrar e integrar los dones de cada persona, de la comunidad y de las culturas.
• Reconocer y responder a los que viven en necesidad.
