Director of Women's Ministry

The Director of Women’s Ministry will report to the Director of Campus Ministry and serve on a team with the Pastor, Ministry Staff and St. Paul’s Outreach Missionaries (SPO). This position is a two-year minimum commitment.



  • Provide outreach and spiritual support to students at Washington State University through one-on-ones, meals, presence, and other evangelization activities.
  • Support student formation that encourages and trains them to be effective leaders in church and society.
  • Recruit and mentor women student leaders in campus outreach, retreat leadership and women’s events
  • Coordinate food hospitality for weekly and seasonal events.
  • Be an active presence at the 10:30AM and 5:30PM Masses and support other events led by students.
  • Collaborate with and support SPO Missionaries with bi-weekly Women’s Night events.
  • Plan and lead with other ministry staff and missionaries all annual events including Fall Retreat, Spring Retreat, Service Trips, and others that arise.
  • Coordinate and oversee all outreach efforts with SPO Missionaries and Student leadership (presence on campus; co-sponsorships for on-campus events; dorm outreach; Welcome Team in the fall and spring; Welcome Weeks activities).
  • Oversee social media interns on creating content for all ministry events, homilies, etc. and posting to Instagram, Youtube and STM website.
  • Speak and teach at community formation nights, women’s night and retreats.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in theology, religious studies, or related field.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing.


  • Minimum of two years of ministry experience with a college/university campus ministry or youth and young adult ministry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented manner in all interactions.
  • Ability to adapt to change, be open to new ideas, take on new responsibilities, handle pressure, and adjust plans to meet changing needs.
  • Openness to charismatic prayer and praise and worship.
  • Capacity to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary, and be flexible with schedule.
