A statewide grant process is now open for both of the following Idaho Catholic Foundation (ICF) endowment funds:
o Charitable Works of the Local Church Endowment
o Catholic Parish Faith Formation Endowment
Applications are being accepted for the 2022 grant cycle up until 5 p.m. (MST) on Tuesday, March 15. The guidelines to apply and the application form can be found on the ICF website at idahocatholicfoundation.org. Scroll to the middle of the page and click the link “Accepting Grant Applications.” Preference will be given to those grant requests in the range of $5,000.
The recipients of the grants will be announced at the end of April with funding provided before the start of the next fiscal year, July 1.
“It is important that parish religious education leaders as well as those responsible for ministries doing charitable works such as food pantries and St. Vincent de Paul conferences be made aware of this grant application process,” said Margaret Hampton, development coordinator for the Diocese of Boise. (Funding for Catholic school education is not part of this grant process because Idaho Catholic Foundation automatically allocates funding to Catholic schools.)
Applications can be emailed directly to Hampton at mhampton@rcdb.org. Late applications cannot be accepted. For more information, call 208-350-7539.
