Raspberry social returns to St. Gertrude’s Monastery

The following story appeared in the June 24 Idaho Catholic Register.

The Monastery of St. Gertrude is bringing back its summer celebration of raspberries on Sunday, August 7, after a two-year absence due to the COVID pandemic. The celebration, now known as the “Raspberry Social,” resumes with entertainment, a raffle, art show, vintage sale and food.

The social is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Monastery on 465 Keuterville Road in Cottonwood. Admission to the museum will be by donation only. Actors dressed as historical characters will be stationed within the museum and on the grounds.
