The following story appeared in the June 24 Idaho Catholic Register.
St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho’s eighth annual “Summerfest” is Friday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Château de Fleurs in Eagle. The evening will include dinner by Roghani’s Restaurant, a silent and live auction, and live music.
Raffle tickets for a 2022 Subaru Outback and a Subaru Impreza are $100 each, sold online at svdpid.org/raffle. Only 1,500 tickets are available. The winners will be announced at the Summerfest gala. Winners do not need to be present. Tickets for the event, at $100 each, will be available from the website beginning July 1.
Proceeds from the raffle and gala will support St. Vincent de Paul programs and the mission of preventing homelessness.
“This event is a highlight of our year. We are so grateful for the support of our eleven conferences, local businesses, and the community. Our work throughout the year is made possible because of fundraising efforts and events like Summerfest,” said Ralph May, executive director for St. Vincent de Paul of Southwest Idaho.
