We’ve often written about the incredibly transformative power of faith in places across our Diocese. That’s because whenever one experiences a faith on fire, hope is born and hearts are transformed. Communities of compassion and love are built, and the world in
which we live is renewed. You make this possible with your prayers, participation and support of our ministries.
We are grateful to each of you who have generously responded to provide ”A Future Full of Hope” for your Diocese through the Idaho Catholic Appeal (ICA).
As of May 25, we have received pledges totaling $3,395,593 from 6,133 households or 22.4 percent of all households. Of this amount pledged, $437,843 will be returned to the 39 parishes that exceeded their goals. Parishes will use this money for their own projects and programs. As you can see from the chart below, some parishes still need your help in reaching their individual goals.
Your prayers and financial support of the more than 20 ministries the ICA funds make the work of our Church possible.
As you read about young people confirmed, clergy ordained, and stories of conversion in this newspaper, you witness firsthand how the seeds of faith you and your fellow parishioners plant today will bear fruit beyond our lifetimes. These are examples of the just a few of the of the life-changing, life giving, difference you make whenever you support Idaho Catholic Appeal-funded ministries. You help to bring the light of Christ and the hope of our Church to individuals and families seeking a relationship with Him.
From incarcerated persons to college students struggling to find direction, to single mothers seeking comfort and support, to children preparing for the sacraments, to men and women discerning a call to serve the Church, all are impacted by your generosity to the Idaho Catholic Appeal.
If you have not done so already, please make your contribution today to the Idaho Catholic Appeal. Remember, it is not how much you give, but how much love you put into your giving.
